About Prolias

Mission

The mission of Prolias is to provide cutting-edge technology for research, identification and commercialization of proteins for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Approach

Prolias has developed a proprietary technology platform with three major applications:

• Sample preparation for proteomic sample analysis and biomarker discovery using ProSpectrum Libraries™
• Ligand discovery for protein purification and study of protein-protein and protein-drug interactions using patented Bead blot technology
• Discovery of new therapeutic proteins, especially epitope-specific antibodies by Functional Identification of Novel Activities (FIoNA)

Technology Platform

Prolias uses proprietary libraries of combinatorially-generated peptide ligands to fractionate, concentrate, and individually purify all of the components in complex mixtures such as whole blood, plasma, tissue homogenates, as well as environmental samples. The total protein bound to the library is eluted and evaluated for differences between healthy- and disease-state specific samples for biomarker discovery.
